I’m a process junkie. I love watching people create. This past week I had the pleasure of watching Ariana DeBose in process. She was rehearsing for her show “Addicted to Love” at Birdland Jazz Club. What I witnessed was someone who has a keen understanding of collaboration. The room was full of joy, the kind that can only be created by people who come together to create something out of love.
A beautiful young Texas woman and a homeless Native American man strike up an unexpected friendship in this developmental production of an original musical by Elizabeth A. Davis (Once). Davis and Robert Salas play the lead roles, directed by Emmy winner Don Scardino (30 Rock).
